Algemene Voorwaarden
Deze voorwaarden ("Voorwaarden") zijn van toepassing op alle verkopen en leveringen van producten die door consumenten worden gekocht in de Konges Sløjd Online Shop van Konges Sløjd A/S, bedrijfsregistratienr. 36718714, Kuglegårdsvej 13-17, Building 13, 1434 Copenhagen, Denemarken (hierna "Konges Sløjd" of "wij"). www.nl.kongessloejd.com ("Website") en is eigendom van en wordt beheerd door Konges Sløjd.
1. Bestellingen plaatsen
Controleer alvorens je bestelling te plaatsen zorgvuldig je bestel-, betalings-, leverings- en facturatiegegevens.
Kort na het plaatsen van je bestelling ontvang je per e-mail een ontvangstbewijs waarin wij bevestigen dat wij je bestelling hebben ontvangen. Dit ontvangstbewijs is geen orderbevestiging is en op dat moment is de bestelling nog niet bindend. Er komt pas een bindende overeenkomst tussen jou en Konges Sløjd tot stand wanneer wij per e-mail bevestigen dat je bestelling is verzonden.
Wij behouden ons het recht voor je bestelling niet te accepteren als wij bijvoorbeeld geen betalingsmachtiging kunnen verkrijgen, als er verzendbeperkingen gelden voor een bepaald product, als het bestelde product niet op voorraad is of niet voldoet aan onze kwaliteitsnormen en wordt teruggeroepen, of als je niet voldoet aan de toelatingscriteria die in de Voorwaarden zijn uiteengezet.
Wij kunnen ook om welke reden dan ook weigeren een transactie te verwerken en dus te aanvaarden of iemand op elk moment en naar ons eigen goeddunken de dienst weigeren. Wij zijn niet aansprakelijk jegens jou of een derde partij vanwege het feit dat wij een product van de Website verwijderen, ongeacht of het product al dan niet is verkocht; materiaal of inhoud van de Website verwijderen, testen of bewerken; weigeren een transactie te verwerken of een transactie ongedaan maken of opschorten nadat de verwerking is begonnen.
Helaas is het niet mogelijk om een eenmaal geplaatste bestelling te annuleren of te wijzigen. Onze systemen zijn nauw geïntegreerd met ons magazijn en zijn ontworpen om bestellingen zo snel mogelijk te verwerken en uit te voeren.
Dit betekent dat als een bestelling eenmaal is geplaatst, wij niet kunnen ingrijpen in de verwerking of verzending van de bestelling. Als je spijt hebt van je aankoop of als er een andere reden is waarom je de goederen niet langer wilt, kun je je bestelling eenvoudig retourneren. Je kunt een retourlabel kopen via ons retourportaal of bij een postkantoor.
2. Betaling
Je kunt betalen met MasterCard, Visa, JCB, MobilePay en alle andere methoden die duidelijk op de Website worden genoemd. De betaling wordt van je rekening afgeschreven en verrekend bij verzending van je bestelling door Konges Sløjd.
Wij nemen alle maatregelen om onze Website veilig te maken die redelijkerwijs van ons kunnen worden verwacht. Alle creditcardtransacties op deze Website worden verwerkt via een veilige online betalingsgateway die je kaartgegevens versleutelt in een beveiligde host-omgeving. Bovendien zullen wij alle redelijke maatregelen nemen, voor zover dat in ons vermogen ligt, om je bestellings- en betaalgegevens veilig te stellen, maar wij kunnen niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor enig verlies dat je lijdt als een derde onbevoegd toegang krijgt tot gegevens die je verstrekt bij het bezoeken van of het bestellen op de Website
3. Prijzen
De prijs van een product die op de Website wordt weergegeven op het moment dat de bestelling wordt aanvaard, zal worden gehandhaafd, behalve in geval van vergissingen, typefouten enz.
Alle prijzen zijn vermeld in DKK (of een andere valuta die je op onze website kunt laten weergeven), inclusief btw en andere verkoopbelastingen voor zover van toepassing.
Alle douanekosten en invoerrechten die worden geheven zodra de bestelling het land van bestemming bereikt, moeten worden betaald door de ontvanger van de bestelling. Konges Sløjd heeft geen controle over deze kosten en kan deze niet voorspellen. Het douanebeleid verschilt sterk van land tot land. 4. Customs and duties
Please note that you are solely responsible for paying any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by your local customs authorities upon the arrival of your package. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are not collected or controlled by Konges Sløjd.
Konges Sløjd is not responsible for any delays, additional charges, or refusal of packages due to unpaid customs duties. Should you refuse to pay import duties or fail to retrieve your package, any return costs or losses incurred will be deducted from your refund.
4.1 Customs Information for U.S. Customers
We recommend checking with U.S. Customs and Border Protection or your local carrier for up-to-date guidance before placing your order.
Orders shipped to the United States with a total value less than 800USD (excluding shipping) are currently not subject to customs duties or import taxes due to the U.S. de minimis threshold.
However, please note that this threshold may be subject to change, and exceptions may apply depending on the contents of your order, origin of items, and assessment made by the customs broker at destination. For orders exceeding 800 USD, import duties, taxes and fees may be imposed, which must be paid by the recipient upon import.
Konges Sløjd has no control over these charges and cannot be held responsible for any additional costs, delays, or refusals due to unpaid import fees. If an order is returned to us due to refusal to pay customs charges, the cost of return shipping and any applicable fees will be deducted from your refund.

4.2 Refusal to Pay Customs Duties or Import Fees
If you refuse to pay the applicable customs duties, import taxes or fees upon the arrival of your order, the shipment will be returned to Konges Sløjd. Such refusal is not considered a valid cancellation or withdrawal of the purchase, but rather treated as an unsolicited return. You are fully responsible for any costs associated with the return of the package, including but not limited to return shipping charges, customs handling fees and any additional carrier fees. These costs will be deducted from your original payment before a refund is issued.
The refund will only be processed once the returned package has been received and inspected at our warehouse. Please note that this process may take several weeks depending on the shipping carrier and customs procedures.
5. Shipping and delivery
We strive to dispatch the same day if the order has been submitted before 2pm CEST. We process your order as quickly as possible and typically ship within 1 - 2 business days. During sales periods, public holidays or other events, extended delivery times may occur.
When placing an order, you can only select the delivery methods available in the check-out flow and cannot change this after placing the order.
Delivery times and costs depend on the delivery service on the applicable domain.

All customers paying by credit card are subject to validation, and Konges Sløjd reserves the right to postpone the delivery of an order if we believe that additional security checks are necessary. Once your order has been shipped, we will send you an email with the tracking number of the parcel.
NOTE. If your order is delivered to a pick-up point, please remember to pick it up before it is returned. Costs associated with return shipping are paid by you and are not covered by Konges Sløjd.
6. Order cancellation
Once your order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled. All orders are considered final upon confirmation and will be processed automatically by our system for fulfillment and shipping.
If you no longer wish to receive your order, you are welcome to return the items in accordance with our return policy once the package has been delivered. Please note that refusing delivery or failing to pick up your parcel does not constitute a valid cancellation and may result in return shipping fees being deducted from your refund.
7. Returns and withdrawal
7.1 Withdrawel
Under consumer law, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, Konges Sløjd has voluntarily chosen to offer an extended right of withdrawal of 30 days instead.
The right of withdrawal expires 30 days after the day you receive your order. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.
The deadline means that you have 30 days from the day of receipt to notify us that you want to withdraw from your purchase. You can send an email to webshop@kongessloejd.com and use the form immediately below.
You cannot withdraw from the purchase by refusing to accept the order without notifying us at the same time.
You cannot withdraw from purchases where you have paid for a customization, such as name embroidery.

7.2 Returns
If you have purchased multiple items from us, you have the option to return one or more items, even if they were purchased in one order.
You must pay for the postage and other costs associated with the return. Costs associated with return shipping are paid by you and are not covered by Konges Sløjd. When returning goods, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packaged to prevent damage during transportation. You are liable for the goods from the time of delivery and you are responsible for the package arriving at our warehouse.
When sending your return parcel, we recommend that you add a tracking number so you can always follow the parcel. The return payment for the package will be refunded to you as soon as the package is received and processed by our warehouse. We reserve the right to withhold payment until the package is received. When returning one or more items, please make sure to get a receipt for the posting of the parcel when you hand over the parcel. This is your proof that the package has been returned to us and you should keep the posting receipt until you receive notice from Konges Sløjd that your returned parcel has been received and processed.
We only accept parcels sent directly to the above address, which is Konges Sløjd’s warehouse partner. We do not accept parcels sent to parcel shops, drop points or collection points and do not refund the costs associated with returning the parcel or any resending of the return parcel.
Send your return to us no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to return the purchase.
Include clear information with the order number and full name that you used for the purchase.
Remember to pack your goods responsibly. If the goods are not received in their original condition and packaging, we may make a deduction from the refund corresponding to the decrease in value of the goods.
If returned products show signs of damage or use, other than what is required to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product, you will be liable for any loss of value of such product. You may thus lose the right in full or in part to have the purchase price refunded. If the original packaging is missing, the value of the goods may be impaired. The item must be in its original packaging. The item must not have signs of wear, stains, damage, or smells of external odors. Clothing must have tags. Items in boxes must be wrapped and labels must not be placed directly on the box.
Konges Sløjd will refund the amount to the same payment method you used for the purchase, and we are not able to refund to another payment account or issue gift cards as an alternative refund solution.
We will refund the purchase price together with the original freight costs (however, not any additional costs incurred as a consequence of you opting for a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery) less any loss of value.
7.3 Return of free add-on products
In some cases, Konges Sløjd runs campaigns where it is possible to receive a free additional product if, for example, you purchase a certain main product, if you purchase a certain amount or as a result of the campaign terms and conditions in general. In this regard, please note that if you regret the purchase of the main product, you must also return the free additional product together with the main product. If the additional product is not returned together with the main product or at our request within the set reasonable time limit, Konges Sløjd will invoice you for the value of the additional product. This will be done by Konges Sløjd deducting the value of the additional product from the return amount that you are entitled to receive for the return of the main product as specified in these Terms and Conditions.
8. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color or style, please do so by placing a new order on our Webshop. Please return the item you do not wish to keep to our warehouse. See how to return an item in the above section regarding right of withdrawal and returns.
9. Defects
When you shop at Konges Sløjd, the applicable warranty rules for product purchases are in accordance with current consumer legislation. This means that you have a warranty period of 24 months when you have a valid order number and can show proof of purchase in our Webshop.
For complaints about goods purchase in our Webshop, please create a claim via Claimlane.
For complaints about goods purchase from one of our retailers, please contact your retailer. Konges Sløjd is unable to help you without a valid order number from our Webshop.
If your complaint is justified, this means that you can either get the product repaired, exchanged, a refund or a price reduction, depending on the specific situation.
You must complain within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. If you complain within six months of discovering the fault, the complaint will always be timely.
If you are entitled to a refund, this will take place within 14 days after we have approved the complaint.
10. Our liability and content protection
We warrant to you that any product purchased from us through our website is of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for the purpose for which products of the kind are commonly supplied. Every care has been taken in the preparation of the content of this Website to ensure that the items and terms are described accurately. There may, however, from time to time be technical inaccuracies and/or typographical errors. There may be slight variations from time to time in style or color reproduction or in text descriptions. As the actual colors you will see will depend on your monitor, we are unable to promise or guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will actually reflect the color of the product delivered to you. Minor color deviations are therefore not considered a defect within the meaning of the Danish Sale of Goods Act. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any claims either direct or in terms of consequential loss relating to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the sections of this Website, whether this arises from breach of duty, breach of contract, negligence, or any other way.
We are not liable for use of the products if you use them for purposes other than those for which they are intended or for indirect losses and our liability is in any event strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you have purchased.
Konges Sløjd strives to provide accurate and up-to-date content on this webshop. Unfortunately, there may occasionally be price changes, out-of-stock items and other unintentional errors on our webshop. Konges Sløjd can only be held responsible if it follows from Danish law.

The following customer information is requested by Konges Sløjd when you shop on our website:

12. Trademark and copyright
All product designs, product names and content of the Site are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not use any product designs, product names or trademarks presented on this site without prior written consent from Konges Sløjd A/S.
13. Right of appeal

Please note that in order to make a complaint, the product or service you want to complain about must have cost a minimum of 1,110kr. and a maximum of 100.000 kr. However, for complaints about clothing and shoes, the price must have been at least 720kr. There is a fee to have the complaint processed.

14. Choice of law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Danish law and Danish courts, unless otherwise required by Regulation (EC) 593/2008 of June 17th, 2008, on the law applicable to contractual obligations (Rome I Regulation). This choice of law and jurisdiction does not affect consumer protection under the applicable law of your country of residence.
15. Force Majeure
Konges Sløjd cannot be held liable for any delays or failures to fulfill our obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, war, terrorism, cyber attacks, pandemics, epidemics, labor disputes, strikes, governmental actions, political changes, import or export restrictions, or disruptions in transportation or supply chains.
In such cases, our obligations will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, and we will do our best to resume operations as soon as it is reasonably possible.
